Steve Hocheiser

CPA
Steve Hocheiser is an experienced CPA who has worked extensively in private and public accounting. He founded Hocheiser CPA on the guiding principle that by working closely with business owners and individuals, comprehensive strategies can be developed to achieve financial objectives. He uses timely, relevant, client-specific information to assist clients in making sound financial decisions.
Steve works directly with each individual client. He is devoted to being a client’s primary financial advisor by developing a thorough understanding of short- and long-term goals. This understanding combined with his diverse experience enables Steve to guide clients in making educated decisions that will make their goals a reality.
His professional experience includes more than 15 years as a senior financial executive for local manufacturing firms, business consulting, financial and tax planning, preparation of individual and business tax returns, and QuickBooks implementation and trouble shooting.
Steve holds a BS in accounting from Bentley College, an MBA from Babson College and is a Certified Public Accountant. 

Michael (Mike) Kennedy

CPA
Mike joined the firm in 2023, bringing his extensive experience working with entrepreneurs. Mike has an amazing ability to bring practical advice to a situation while keeping the broader perspective in mind. He takes the time to analyze each client’s situation in order to customize the best solution or approach to any tax or business challenge brought forth.
His integrity, creativity and innovative thinking make him a great addition to the team at Hocheiser CPA.
Mike holds a BS from University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth and is an accomplished Controller, Entrepreneur and CPA.

Alexandra S. Boyd

Office Manager
Alexandra (Alex) Boyd, our Office Manager joined Hocheiser CPA in 2015, bringing 20 years of Financial, Project Management, and Personnel experience to our Firm.
Alex manages the office by organizing company operations and procedures. She handles individual client tax preparation, facilitates filings and other tax or financial related requests.  She directs payroll services for our business clients, which includes resolving issues with Federal and multi-state tax agencies.  Alex adds a personal touch to client interaction and manages to keep the team/train moving on time and at full speed ahead.
Alex holds a B.A. from University of Massachusetts/Amherst.

Janet Chan

Accountant
Janet joined Hocheiser CPA in 2016 as an Accountant. She provides QuickBooks bookkeeping services and QuickBooks training to clients in a variety of industries. Janet has more than 10 years’ experience providing QuickBooks bookkeeping services to small companies.
In addition, she has also worked as a staff accountant for several large companies. Janet holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas and a BA in Economics from the University of Dallas and is also a Certified Quickbooks Advisor for Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks online.

Paula Dimidis

Accountant
Paula joined Hocheiser CPA in 2022. Bringing prior accounting and tax prep experience, she develops relationships with small business clients and keeps them on track. This includes monthly bookkeeping, tax return preparation, providing QuickBooks implementation and training, and helping clients stay current with the variety of business filings needed to operate. A small business owner herself, Paula understands and supports the tremendous effort our clients give every day building their dreams and futures.  
Paula holds a B.A. from Wellesley College.
